Should You Travel Before Getting Married? 結婚する前に旅に行ったほうがいい？

「結婚する前に旅に出たほうがいい？」
そんなことをどこかで聞いた気がする。

僕たちの答えはYESだった。

結婚する前に旅に出よう！
そしてふたりで新しい景色を見よう！

二人で行ったことのない国に行くと今まで知らなかった相手の顔が見えてくる。
道に迷った時どうするのか。
移動中の長距離バスの中の時間。
どの国にいくのか？
お金の両替は？
泊まる場所はどうする？

どうしても二人でずっと一緒にいる時間が長いと喧嘩をする。
ひとりになりたいときもある。
なにも話さないときもある。
それでもふたりでいたほうがいい。

この人とずっと一緒にいられる。
そう思えたなら、この旅は成功だと思う。

こうして僕たちはヨーロッパの旅にでた。

''Should we go traveling before getting married?" I feel like I've heard that somewhere. Well, our answer to that question was "yes!" We decided to travel before getting married and experience beautiful places together.

While exploring completely unfamiliar countries, you're able to see sides of each other you've never known before. Getting lost, spending 9+ hours together on a bus, deciding which country to visit or how much money to change or where to stay. Arguments happen when you're constantly together for so long.

Sometimes you want to be alone. Maybe you don't want to talk. But it's important to keep sticking it out together.

If you end up still thinking you want to always be together, the trip will be a success.

With that in mind, we set out to Europe.
